Classes meet once a week, students
are welcome to join anytime during the year.
We recognize that in today's
time-sensitive world, parents have limited or no time to play
with their children, even though they really wanted to!!!
Our Games Workshop provides a safe and fun environment for
children to interact and play with their peers, learning the
importance of rules of the games, which experts say can turn
kids into well-balanced adults when they grow up. They will
love learning and playing our games and don't even realize
that they are developing strategic, problem-solving and critical
thinking abilities using logic, arithmetic and other important
skills when they are playing our exclusive line of games.
We teach them how to play our
exclusive line of award winning games from
Gigamic and Abalone . Our games have won such
prestigious awards from Mensa (www.mensa.org)
which was founded in England in 1946 as a society for bright
people, the only qualification for membership is a high IQ.
In addition, many of our games have also won the Parents Choice
Award in the US, as well as Best Game of the Year in many
European countries. Your children will have the chance to
learn and play Quarto!, Quixo, Pylos, Quoridor and many more!
Many parents and kids have told us that our games are much
more fun and interesting than traditional Chess or Checkers.
Most importantly, our games can be taught in minutes, they
are easy, learn and fun to play, yet difficult to master!
Have you considered that all
the hours playing games when you were a child helped shape
who you are today and how you learnt about the world? According
to child development
experts, developmentally, most children progress from
an egocentric worldview to one that involves an understanding
of the importance of rules and social contracts. Playing 'games
with rules' is a fun way to teach children a critically important
concept- life has rules that we should follow to function
effectively. Playing games is a learning process and ultimately,
a means of adapting to or coping with life situations...

Feedback Form
In order to help us better serve
you, we appreciate if you would take a minute to fill out
the following feedback form. In appreciation for your time,
we will give you a 10% discount on enrollment fees when your
child enrolls at our Games Workshop.
Games
Workshop Policies
Enrollment
- Parents/guardians must complete
and sign the enrollment form provided and mail back to us
with a non-refundable deposit.
- Enrollment is not complete
until the deposit is received and the funds cleared.
Minimum
Enrollment
- The minimum number of participants
(students) is 7 per session (timeslot).
- Gameplan reserves the right
at its sole discretion to refund the non-refundable deposit
if the minimum number of participants is not reached for
each timeslot in the particular month.
- Parents/guardians will be
notified by Gameplan regarding enrollment status.
Payment of
Fees
- Full payment is due on or
before the first class commences.
- Payment can be made in Cash
or Cheque in Hong Kong Dollars.
Refunds
- We regret that we cannot give
refunds or credits for missed classes.
- We can arrange make-classes
for students who are absent due to illness with doctor's
letter.
- A maximum of one make up class
per student can be provided per term (month).
Waiting Lists
- Fully enrolled workshop classes
will have a waiting list.
- Enrollment is based on first-come
first-served but Gameplan reserves the sole right for final
decisions regarding enrollment.
Holidays
- Gameplan Games Workshop is
closed on all public holidays
- Should a class fall on a public
holiday, a make-up class will be arranged by Gameplan.
Accompanying
Your Child
- No waiting area is provided
for parents or domestic maids/child helpers.
- In special circumstances,
we may make exception for parents to participate in a workshop.
Food
and Beverages
- Food and beverages are not
permitted in our workshop and classes.
- Please advise us of any food
allergies or dietary restrictions.
Enforced
Closures
- Classes will be closed during
warnings for red and black rain and/or signal 8 typhoon.
- Classes may be canceled, at
our sole discretion, during red rain warnings and/or typhoon
signal 3.
- Please contact us to confirm
in advance during the above circumstances.
- We regret we cannot arrange
for make-up classes for enforced closures.
- In the event that students
are already on the premises, the Gameplan Games Workshop
staff will look after those students to ensure their safety.
Please contact us immediately to arrange for pickup.
Make-up
Classes
- Make-up classes will not be
held for students who enroll part way through a particular
term.
- Fees would be charged on a
pro-rata basis.
Premise
Partner
- Gameplan Games Workshop works
with existing child-learning and activities centres in Hong
Kong to provide parents/guardians with the convenience of
selecting a location
closest to your home or workplace.
- Gameplan will ensure that
our Premise Partners are properly trained in the rules of
our games. At some locations, we will also provide our own
dedicate Workshop trainer to teach the students.
- You can also purchase our
exclusive line of family educational games at our Premise
Partners' location.
Premise Policies
- Parents/Guardians and students
must also follow the respective premise policies set by
our Premise partners to ensure a safe and fun learning experience.
- Please contact us in advance
for additional premise policies before our workshop classes
start.
Photographs
- We may take photographs of
our workshop for our own use or for publication.
- All photographs are the property
of the Gameplan Games Workshop.
